Jon Self Set Building was established in 1984 after I had trained as a set builder under Malcolm Ryan for 7 years. The business moved into 22b Iliffe Yard in 1985. In 2005, having recognised a significant shift in the interiors photographic industry towards location photography, the workshop was downsized and a small daylight studio of 600 sq ft was created, whilst still retaining 400 sq ft of workshop space. In 1994 an idea for a board game gripped me and in 2001 Cat Attacked was launched, a game of strategy based on the trials and tribulations of the domestic cat. To date 0ver 10,000 copies have been sold and is still available to buy either on line, in catalogues and a select number of retail outlets. I am also available for blues harmonica sessions (Morrisey, Pete Murphy, Carol Kenyon....) either studio or live and if you need a good party band why not try The Rawhides?
